Honour and Memory

We’ve all had a friend or family member that we just don’t know what to buy for their upcoming special occasion. Or perhaps someone close to you has recently passed. Making a gift to the Foundation in their honour or memory allows you to support health care, while providing a meaningful way to honour or remember a loved one.

Donations may be designated to specific areas of the hospital, to the area of greatest need, or to the endowment fund. Memorial gifts received that are undesignated or unrestricted will contribute to the Foundation’s endowment fund, helping to create a long-term, stable and predictable source of funding for future health care needs.

Tribute gifts are also a great way to honour someone special in your life by making a gift in their name. Not only are you recognizing something very important to them, you’re sharing their interest in the charity. Upon making a gift, the Foundation will send an acknowledgment to the family member or individual you’ve indicated with the gift.
