Can I make a donation to a specific area or department within the hospital?
Yes. Donors can designate their gifts for specific departments or funds, and that gift will not be used for any other purpose other than what the donor intended. If you’d prefer not to designate your gift, it will be directed to the greatest needs within the hospital

How does the Foundation raise money?
The CEHHC Foundation raises money in various ways, including:
The hospital is relatively new, what are you still raising funds for?
While the building itself is new, the equipment and technology within the hospital is aging and requires updating or replacing. The Foundation raises money to fund the equipment and patient care enhancements that the provincial government cannot provide, which is why we rely on the support of our community.

Are there ways I can help without donating money?
Absolutely! You can purchase Raffle Tickets or attend any of our special events – that way you’re still helping us to reach our goals and contributing to the Foundation. Occasionally we need volunteers to help with our events as well, so donating your time is another option.
